ヴィンテージリングの造形を着想の起点とし、装飾の奥にある「構造」を見つめ直して生まれたリングです。
側面に連なる凹凸は、表面に施された装飾ではなく、形を支える骨組みが内側から輪郭を押し上げている姿を表現しています。
本来は見えないはずの構造を、あえて外へと現し、そのものをリングの表情となるように仕立てました。
地金の量感と構造をそのまま見せることで、一つの建築物を構成する要素のような力強さと美しさを宿しています。
外側に見える意匠と、内側で形を支える骨格。
その境界を曖昧にすることで、構造そのものをデザインへと昇華したシリーズです。

Inspired by the form of vintage rings, this piece explores the hidden structure that lies beneath ornamentation.
The repeating contours along the sides are not decorative details applied to the surface. Instead, they express the image of an internal framework pushing outward to define the ring's silhouette.
Rather than concealing its structure, the design brings it to the surface, allowing the framework itself to become the ring's defining expression.
The weight of the silver and the exposed structural elements evoke the strength and clarity of architectural construction.
