Yoshinori Hijikata
History
2009年、ドレスメーカー学院 デザインアート科卒業。
シルバーアクセサリーの販売を経て、宝飾メーカーの制作部に入社。
原型から仕上げまで、一貫したハイジュエリーの制作手法を学び、
商品企画、宝石の仕入れ、管理など、宝飾の世界の知見を広げる。
その後、ブライダルジュエリーメーカーにて量産品の経験を重ね、
2025年10月に、造形や“象る”ことを事業とする「象屋」を設立。
ワックスを用いた原型制作を得意とする。
Graduated from the Design Art Department of Dressmaker Gakuin in 2009.
After working in silver accessory sales, he joined the production department of a jewelry manufacturer, where he learned the full process of high jewelry making, from prototype to finishing.
He also expanded his knowledge of jewelry through product planning, gem sourcing, and management.
Later, after gaining experience in mass-production jewelry at a bridal jewelry company, he founded Zoya in October 2025, a practice centered on form-making and the act of shaping.
His specialty is prototype creation using wax modeling.

The Beginning of LOA
ジュエリーという言葉は、
価格や素材を示すカテゴリーを超え、一つの概念として存在している。
その概念をシルバーアクセサリーで表現できないだろうか。
LOAは、その問いから始まりました。
ハイジュエリーの制作現場で培った経験と、シルバーアクセサリーが持つ自由な表現力。
その両方を融合させることで、新しい価値を持つ装飾品を生み出したいと考えています。

Could that concept be expressed through silver accessories?
By combining the craftsmanship of high jewelry with the expressive freedom of silver, LOA seeks to create a new form of adornment.

身につけるものとして自然な形へと整えています。

Drawing inspiration from enduring forms of beauty—
Art Deco ornamentation, heraldic motifs, and architectural details—
we refine them into forms that feel natural to wear.

私は長年、宝飾の制作に携わり、数え切れないほど多くのジュエリーに触れてきました。
その中で感じたことは、長く愛されるものには、理由があるということです。
一目で惹きつけられるフォルム
ストーリーを表す様な金属の仕上げ方法
絵画の様な宝石の使い方など
何か一部分が優れているのではなく、一つひとつの細かな選択の積み重ねが、その物の印象を決め、人々を魅了するジュエリーとしているのだと考えています。
このジュエリーたらしめる要素を突き詰めて、もっと身近なものとして形にしたい。
それがLOAを始めた理由です。
LOAでは、シルバーアクセサリーの母体に、ジュエリーの要素を足す「Like Jewelry」というコンセプトを掲げています。
これは、銀の特性を踏まえた構造と、素材本来の色味に合う宝石のチョイスなど、時間を重ねてヴィンテージジュエリーの様に、完成されていくことを想定して作っている、宝飾としての物作りがベースにあるところから来ています。
新品の美しさだけではなく、身につけるほどに少しずつ表情を変え、持ち主とともに時を重ねながら完成していくもの。
LOAが、誰かの日常に長く寄り添い、ともに時間を重ねていく存在になれたなら、それ以上に嬉しいことはありません。
For many years, I have been involved in fine jewelry craftsmanship and have encountered countless pieces of jewelry throughout my career.
Through that experience, I came to realize that there is always a reason why certain pieces continue to be cherished over time.
A form that captivates at first sight.
Metal finishes that tell a story.
The use of gemstones as though composing a painting.
It is not one exceptional element alone that defines a piece. Rather, I believe it is the accumulation of countless thoughtful decisions that shapes its character and gives jewelry its enduring appeal.
I wanted to explore these essential qualities that make jewelry what it is, and translate them into something more accessible and closer to everyday life.
That is why I started LOA.
At LOA, we embrace the concept of “Like Jewelry”—bringing the essential qualities of fine jewelry into the foundation of silver accessories.
This approach is rooted in the craftsmanship of fine jewelry: structures designed with the unique characteristics of silver in mind, gemstones carefully selected to complement the natural tone of the metal, and every detail considered with the passage of time in mind.
Each piece is created to evolve, gradually developing the character and depth of vintage jewelry as it is worn and cherished over the years.
Its beauty is not limited to the moment it is new.
With every wear, its expression slowly changes, becoming more complete as it shares time with the person who wears it.
If LOA can become a lasting presence in someone’s everyday life—something that stays close and grows with them through the years—there could be nothing more rewarding.
